The Root Cause

It seems appropriate to do an update. Yesterday, while my cardiologist was doing the routine check to make sure that everything with the pacemaker was working correctly, my heart decided to go into a Fib, good timing as most of those that are aFib don't find out until after a stroke which isn't a good thing, I would just rather avoid a stroke if at all possible.
A couple of things, first I had complained or commented that I had been pretty lethargic needing to take naps just to make it through the day or so that I could make it through the day. I thought that it was this med that he had me on, it wasn't. Secondly, I had gotten a new digital blood pressure monitor and it was acting funny, I even had to call the manufacturer to get the system to work correctly, but one of the things it indicated and I wrote it off thinking that it was the different cuff style or I didn't have the cuff on correctly or it was not working correctly because of the pacemaker, It wasn't It Was Spot ON!
One thing the pacemaker could statistically confirm was that I had been in a Fib 9 times since my last appointment 14 days prior.
Now I get to wonder just when this all started? Was it just with the spinning on the 16th of July or have some of those 'senior moments' been because the blood was going to a different part of my brain?
